EPIC™ Software

"EPIC™" (Exit Plan Interactive Creator) is BEI's proprietary, HotDocs®-based, software. It combines the information you collect from an owner with your Exit Planning expertise to create comprehensive, custom Exit Plans.
Each unique written plan includes specific recommendations to help an owner to achieve his/her specific exit objectives. It also includes numerous exhibits with tips on preparing each one. Finally, each plan contains a customized Action Item Checklist that not only summarizes the actions to be taken, it assigns each task to a particular advisor and tells the owner when each task will be completed. The Action Item Checklist keeps the business owner aware of what each member of the Advisor Team is doing to achieve his/her successful exit.
In addition to Exit Plans, EPIC™ is capable of generating engagement letters and consent to share information letters. We have also created a cash flow spreadsheet to help advisors understand and demonstrate various cash flow scenarios.
Members typically charge a separate and substantial planning fee for this aspect of the Exit Planning practice. EPIC™ is the most powerful Exit Planning software available in the marketplace today.
Assessment and Analysis Tool Software
The Assessment Tools were developed to help members engage a prospective planning client by visually showing the prospective client their planning concerns/weaknesses based upon their answers. Structured around the BEI Seven Step Exit Planning Process™, these streamlined, compact tools create a quick Exit Planning Assessment graphic analysis. It compiles all of the owner’s answers from the Exit Planning Workbooks and Brochures and creates two visual representation deliverables. They quickly identify the planning areas in which immediate focus is needed and indicate how prepared the owner is to leave their business.
These tools allow members to provide:
- A "First-look, Quick-look" at a client’s situation
- Group Presentations to capture contact information
- Individual Situation Assessments
- Give-away at trade association talks
- Part of initial mailer to group of qualified owners
